Christian is an engineer at Nextpoint and an organizer of devopsdays Madison. He’s been an ops person for nearly 20 years, only getting out into the wider world of open source recently. He still misses ksh a little. Christian enjoys dancing, live music, board games, and suffers attending to the whims of Prickles the cat.
Christine Spang
Christine went to MIT, dropped out of an operating systems graduate program to be a kernel engineer at Ksplice, and has spent the last 5 years building Nylas, a startup building modern APIs for business communications. She’s worn a lot of hats at the company, from developing software and running infrastructure to managing engineers and convincing folks to build with the platform. She currently serves as CTO.
Cobus Bernard
Cobus is the AWS Senior Technical Evangelist for Sub-Saharan Africa. He started the Cape Town DevOps meetups in 2015 and tries to spread the DevOps gospel after spending years in both dev and ops.
Corey Quinn
Corey is a Cloud Economist at the Duckbill Group. Corey specializes in helping companies improve their AWS bills by making them smaller and less horrifying; hosts the Screaming in the Cloud and AWS Morning Brief podcasts; and curates Last Week in AWS, a weekly newsletter summarizing the latest in AWS news, blogs, and tools, sprinkled with snark.
